Your Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive In London

London-Big-Ben-Parliament

Welcome to London! Arrive in the grand English capital and check in at your hotel for a three-night stay. Spend the your day exploring the endless options this city has to offer. Your rail package includes a London Pass, which will be your gateway to numerous attractions. The pass will allow entry to 80 attractions including the Tower of London, Kensington Palace and Westminster Abbey. Why not take the Thames River Cruise included in your London Pass or the Hop-On Hop-Off bus? Gaze at the London skyline on the London Eye or from The Shard. You certainly won’t be bored. Day 2 – London

After breakfast your secret food tour begins.  Be sure to wear comfortable footwear as you experience London on a culinary tour. You will have the opportunity to try traditional British food (such as award-winning fish & chips, famous sausage rolls and traditional bacon & egg baps), enjoy samples from street food vendors, taste English cheeses paired with local beer/cider and try a classic British dessert alongside a fresh pot of tea. Plus, the “secret dish”, which you can only find out about on the day. The tour end with a sample of local drinks. (Overnight in London) B

 

Day 3 – London

Spend another day experiencing this amazing city. Head to Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing of the Guard and walk the iconic Mall.  Watch musicians and artists perform, gaze out at the Thames and take a ride on the London Eye, an experience included with your holiday! The views across London’s skyline are quite spectacular – you’ll be able to see St Paul’s Cathedral, the British Museum, Royal Opera House and Tower Bridge from a fantastic perspective! Day 4 – London To York

York England

After breakfast take the train from London to York and check in at your hotel for an overnight stay. Explore this medieval, walled city with your York Pass, taking in the stunning architecture, including the imposing 13th century Gothic cathedral, York Minster, and a wealth of other historic buildings.

 

Day 5 – York To Edinburgh

Travel through superb, rolling countryside aboard a train, crossing the Scottish border and arriving into the capital, Edinburgh. Make your way to your hotel and check in for a two-night stay. (Overnight in Edinburgh) B

 

Day 6 – Edinburgh

Edinburgh is waiting to be explored! Take a scenic walk up to Arthur’s Seat, visit HMY Britannia – the former royal yacht of Britain’s royal family, and enjoy skip-the-line entrance to Edinburgh Castle included with your vacation. This breath-taking, historic fortress dates back to the 12th century, and dominates Edinburgh’s skyline. (Overnight in Edinburgh) B

 

Day 7 – Depart Edinburgh

After breakfast this morning, check out of your hotel and continue with your travels. If you wish to extend your holiday with a rail journey to the Highlands or back to England, we will be happy to arrange this for you. B
