Spend 2 nights in the city of Liverpool, once memorably described by Carl Jung as ”the pool of life”. Enjoy 3 days exploring the museums and galleries, visit the iconic Pier Head and Albert Dock and take in the amazing architecture, with buildings dating back as far as 1500. The city boasts a wonderful array of great restaurants and bars to enjoy and, if you are a fan of the “fab four” , be sure to visit some of the many attractions dedicated to “four lads who shook the world” – the Beatles.

Your Itinerary
Day 1 – Liverpool
Once you arrive into the city, take a moment to admire the Grade I listed St Georges Hall, the Neoclassical building across the road from Lime Street station. Liverpool is an extremely walkable city, and it is very easy to get your bearings whilst admiring many of the listed buildings. Perhaps walk up to Hope Street and pay a visit to Liverpool’s two cathedrals, the Anglican and Metropolitan. Both have striking and very different architecture and the Anglican Cathedral’s tower offers a panoramic 360-degree view of the city from 500 feet above sea level. In the evening walk down to Bold Street for a great selection of independent bars and restaurants to quench your hunger. (Overnight Liverpool) .
Day 2 – Liverpool
After breakfast at your hotel head to the Liverpool Beatles Museum and take in over five floors rare of memorabilia. The museum is located on Mathew Street, home to the famous Cavern Club. Afterwards why not stroll down to the Pier Head and take a ferry ”cross the Mersey” . The Liverpool skyline with its famous “Three Graces” is justly iconic and offers many wonderful photo opportunities. Head down to the Albert Dock and explore the many shops and museums nestling on the waterfront, as well as the largest number of Grade I listed buildings anywhere in the UK. (Overnight Liverpool) B
