Your Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive In London

London-Big-Ben-Parliament

Welcome to London! Arrive in the history-steeped, diverse English capital and check in at your hotel for a four night stay. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city, perhaps enjoying some local cuisine such as fish and chips washed down with a pint. (Overnight in London)

Day 2 – London

After breakfast, spend the day exploring! Your package includes a London Pass, which will serve as your gateway to the city. Gain entry to over 80 attractions including the Tower of London, Kensington Palace or Westminster Abbey. This afternoon, why not take the Thames River Cruise included in your London Pass? Alternatively, make your way to Greenwich to visit the Royal Observatory, the centre of Britain’s astronomical history. You certainly won’t be bored! (Overnight in London) B

Day 3 – London

Spend another day at leisure in London. Head to the South Bank for an iconic London experience. Watch street musicians and artists perform, watch the bustling boats upon the Thames and take a ride on the London Eye, an experience included with your holiday. The views over London’s skyline are quite spectacular – you’ll be able to see St Paul’s Cathedral, the British Museum, Royal Opera House and Tower Bridge from a fantastic perspective! (Overnight in London) B

Day 4 – London

From London, it’s just a short hop on the train to Windsor! Explore the vast green parklands, stop in at a historic pub for lunch or check out the boutique shops. You’ll also be treated to a relaxing journey along the Thames. See the gorgeous English countryside towards Boveney.  See Royal Windsor Racecourse and – of course – the magnificent Windsor Castle! Windsor’s royal heritage dates back centuries and is definitely a must see when you’re in England! A short stroll will take you to Eton College and the quaint Eton township.  (Overnight in London) B

Day 5 – London To Edinburgh

All aboard the train to Edinburgh! Make your way to London’s Kings Cross Station, made world-famous in the Harry Potter movie series.  You can even see a replica of the entrance to Platform 9 ¾ within the station! Travel through lush, rolling countryside, then along the east coast before crossing the Scottish border and arriving in Edinburgh about four and a half hours later. Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel for a three night stay. (Overnight in Edinburgh) B

Day 6 – Edinburgh

Edinburgh is certainly a treat to be enjoyed!  If you are feeling energetic, why not walk up to Arthur’s Seat, which offers fantastic views across the city skyline including The Palace of Holyroodhouse. Ensure you visit HMY Britannia – Her Majesty The Queen’s former floating palace for over 40 years, and enjoy skip the line entrance to Edinburgh Castle included with your package. This amazing, historic fortress dates back to the 12th century, and dominates Edinburgh’s skyline. (Overnight in Edinburgh) B

Day 7 – Edinburgh – Small Group Tour

No visit to Scotland is complete without exploring the stunning beauty of the Highlands! Take a small group day-trip to the rugged, mythical corners of the country, stopping off at Loch Ness – where you may even spot Nessie! Visit the historic battle sites of Glencoe, Stirling Castle and Fort Augustus and spend free time taking-in the wonderful wilderness before returning to Edinburgh for another night at your hotel. (Overnight in Edinburgh) B

Day 8 – Your Journey Ends In Edinburgh

If you would like to extend you holiday to include the west coast of Scotland, the Isle of Skye or perhaps Inverness, we can assist with including these destinations onto your package.
