Day 1- Arrive In London

Arrive in London today and check into your hotel, located right in the heart of the city. Next, why not head out to explore the never ending options which only London can provide.  The unique blend of history, architecture and cosmopolitan vibrancy, makes London one of the world’s best tourist destinations. Day 2 – London

After breakfast begin to explore the city with a London Pass included in your package. Discover the parts of London that interest you – from Kensington Palace to Westminster Abbey, the Churchill War Rooms or the Tower of London. Your pass includes a scenic cruise down the River Thames – the perfect way to see the famous landmarks of the city from a new perspective. (Overnight in London) B

Day 3 – Day Trip to Stonehenge

Today you’ll have the chance to see one of the world’s most breathtaking landmarks – Stonehenge! Your tour from London will take you to observe the prehistoric monument in all its glory, discovering the it’s Neolithic heritage with an expert guide. (Overnight in London) B

Day 4 – London To York

York England

Check-out of your hotel after breakfast and take the train north through the verdant English countryside to the pretty cathedral city of York. After checking in at your hotel, head out to explore this historic city. Quite the contrast to London, York boasts quaint cobbled streets and a relaxed, romantic atmosphere. Spend the rest of the day exploring, perhaps with a stroll along the River Ouse, then enjoy some traditional Yorkshire cuisine come the evening. (Overnight in York) B

Day 5 – York

Create your own sightseeing tour with a York Pass! The city’s official tourist card makes exploring easy and provides many options. Gaze out on spectacular views of the city from Clifford’s Tower, indulge your cultural side at the York Art Gallery, visit the imposing York Minster and discover the city’s legacy for sweets with a visit to York’s Chocolate Story. Day 6 – York To Edinburgh

Today take the train north to Scotland, taking in the magnificent views along the coast before arriving in Edinburgh. Check in at your hotel for a two night stay and start exploring the Scottish capital. If you are feeling energetic, why not walk up to Arthur’s Seat, which offers fantastic views across the city skyline including The Palace of Holyroodhouse. (Overnight in Edinburgh) B

Day 7 – Edinburgh

After breakfast experience a slice of Scottish history with a skip the line entrance ticket to Edinburgh Castle included with your holiday. Explore the historic attraction at leisure, visiting St Margaret’s Chapel, the Crown Jewels, Royal Palace and fascinating National War Museum. Day 8 – Day Trip On The Jacobite Steam Train

Fans of gorgeous scenery and blockbuster movies will be in their element today! Get an early start and travel north through the exceptional vistas of the Scottish Highlands to Fort William where you’ll board none other than the Jacobite Steam Train (the Hogwarts Express from Harry Potter film), one of the world’s most scenic railway journeys. Pass Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, skirt the shores of deep lochs and winding rivers along the West Highland Line to your destination of Mallaig, a quaint but busy fishing port. Enjoy free time to explore before catching the train back to Fort William and transferring to Glencoe for an overnight stay. (Overnight in Glencoe) B

Day 9 – Fort William To Chester

Check out of your hotel and transfer back to Fort William station, where you will catch a train bound for Chester, England. Founded as a Roman fortress as far back as the 1st century BC, Chester boasts myriad history and stunning architecture. Settle in at your hotel for a two night stay, then set out to explore the city. Admire the well-preserved Roman Walls, Tudor-style buildings and the Roman amphitheatre. (Overnight in Chester) B

Day 10 – Chester

Today you’ll enjoy a private walking tour of the great Roman city of Chester. Your guide will give you a fantastic insight into its rich history stretching from Roman origins, through historical events such as the English Civil War to today’s bustling city. Day 11 – Chester To Bristol

Board the train from Chester to Bristol after breakfast today, checking in at your Bristol hotel for an overnight stay. Nestled on the banks of the River Avon, there is plenty to see and do in Bristol, which is famous for its maritime history. Visit the museum on board the SS Great Britain, take-in the views from the top of the Cabot Tower, and wander through the harbour’s 19th-century warehouses, which now house fantastic restaurants, shops and galleries. Day 12 – Bristol To Bath

From Bristol, take the train to Bath, which is only a 15 minute ride away! Check in at your hotel then stroll the cobbled streets of Bath, renowned as one of the most beautiful cities in the UK. Don’t miss a visit to the famous Roman Baths – the city is built on natural hot springs. Perhaps take a cruise down the scenic River Avon and treat yourself to a traditional pub lunch and pint afterwards! (Overnight in Bath) B

Day 13 – Bath To London
