Day 1 – Arrive In London

London-Big-Ben-Parliament

Your journey begins in London, the English capital. Check in at your hotel for a three night stay, then the city is yours to explore! Nowhere in the world combines ancient historical landmarks and cosmopolitan vibrancy quite like London. Spend the evening at the theatre on the West End, or visit one of London’s famous pubs sampling the local cuisine and tasting the local ale. (Overnight in London)

Day 2 – London

Spend the day at leisure in London today, exploring the most popular sights with a London Pass, included with your holiday. Over 80 attractions are available to visit including a scenic cruise down the River Thames, the Tower of London or explore Westminster Abbey. The Pass even includes a hop-on, hop-off bus tour so you can navigate the city’s most important landmarks with ease. (Overnight in London) B

Day 3 – London

London is again yours to explore. Check out some of the city’s quirky neighborhoods including Notting Hill, Covent Garden or Camden and don’t miss a stroll down the South Bank of the River Thames, famed for its street performers and musicians. Here, you will find the iconic London Eye. Entrance to this attraction is  included is your holiday.  Gaze over the rooftops of the city from an iconic vantage point. (Overnight in London) B

Day 4 – London To Edinburgh

Check out of your hotel after breakfast and catch the train north from London to Edinburgh. Cross the border into Scotland and arrive in the country’s capital, where you’ll stay for two nights. Spend the rest of the day exploring Edinburgh’s medieval Old Town, strolling down the cobbled lanes, or stretch your legs with a walk to Arthur’s Seat where you can view the beautiful Edinburgh skyline including the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Day 5 – Edinburgh

Spend a full day exploring Edinburgh’s sights, sounds and local cuisine. Your package includes entrance to Edinburgh Castle, the city’s crowning gem that occupies a fantastic vantage point over the city. Visit St Margaret’s Chapel, one of Edinburgh’s oldest buildings, and unearth fascinating Scottish history with a walk through the Royal Palace and a visit to the Crown Jewels Exhibition. Be sure to listen out for the One o’Clock Gun which is fired everyday except Sundays and public holidays! (Overnight in Edinburgh) B

Day 6 – Edinburgh To Fort William

From Edinburgh, head north on the train to Fort William, the terminus station for the Jacobite Steam Train. Embark on one of the most scenic journeys in the world, an 84 mile round trip that passes Ben Nevis mountain, lochs, rivers and along the Glenfinnan Viaduct, made famous in the Harry Potter films. Spend a little time in the seaside town of Mallaig before returning aboard the train to Fort William.  Transfer to your Glencoe hotel for an overnight stay. (Overnight in Glencoe) B

Day 7 – Fort William To Glasgow

Transfer back to Fort William station today and board the train south to Glasgow. Relax on board as passing Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Upon arrival in Glasgow, check in at your hotel for an overnight stay and being exploring this vibrant city. The bustling port city of Glasgow is set on the banks of the River Clyde and boasts rich ship-building history and Victorian architecture which makes it an interesting place to visit. Proudly Scotland’s cultural hub, the Scottish Opera is here and would make a nice addition to your stay. (Overnight in Glasgow) B

Day 8 – Glasgow To Leeds

After breakfast, continue south on your train journey, crossing back into England and winding along the rails to Leeds in Yorkshire. Check in at your hotel for a two night stay. When in Leeds, ensure a visit to the Royal Armouries, or a wander around Kirkgate Market for delicious street food and great shopping opportunities.

Spend the day enjoying the city Leeds which offers great shops, amazing museums, and art galleries, or speak us about a day trip to the historic walled city of York.  (Overnight Leeds) B

Day 10 – Leeds To Manchester

Manchester

Catch the train west from Leeds to Manchester  where you will stay for two nights. A major city and vibrant hub in the northwest of England, Manchester is proud of its industrial heritage, based around the 18th-century canal system. Explore the sights with a walk along the dockyards or enjoy some of the historic pubs. (Overnight in Manchester) B

Day 11 – Manchester

Explore Manchester today, the home of soccer in the UK and a city with a rich musical heritage.  (Overnight Manchester) B

Day 12 – Manchester To London

Check out of your hotel after breakfast and make the train journey back to London. Check in for an overnight stay and tick off any sights still on your bucket list. (Overnight in London) B
